Working on promoting culture — fostering friendship, cultural awareness and economic cooperation among our members and the society at large.

You are welcome to The Yorubas Of Atlanta. All Yorùbás in Atlanta are encouraged to apply for membership and join the association. Do not be strangers in your own house — the association is open to all Yorùbás.
We exist exclusively for cultural, charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or any corresponding future U.S. Revenue Law.

Who we are
The group will support and promote the involvement of its members in civic and charitable endeavors through mutual cooperation, joint planning and organized execution. We provide support and guidance for individualized growth that leads to the advancement of the various communities of our membership.
The purposes for which The Yorubas Of Atlanta is organized are exclusively cultural, charitable and educational within the context of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Revenue Law.
What we do
This association has brought together many people who otherwise would not have met. This is our home for now, and we must take advantage of all the resources around us — not only for us but for our children.
We must teach them the importance of our cultures and values, and ensure continuity of our rich heritage even in a foreign land.
